Al Petteway & Amy White are an award-winning contemporary acoustic duo who create new music for a new generation! Bonnie Rideout is one of the finest Scottish fiddlers of our time with "dazzling fiddle playing from an authority in her genre." (BILLBOARD). Ceoltoiri Celtic Ensemble (pronounced "kyul-tory," "musicians" in Irish Gaelic) has won the praise of the Washington Post for its "virtuosity and spirited performance." The band includes Connie McKenna, guitar and vocals; Karen Ashbrook, hammered dulcimer, Irish flute and whistle, Sue Richards, Celtic harp and special guests that includes some of the finest Irish musicians performing today. Jody Marshall, a native of the Washington, D.C. area, grew up in a musical family. She has been nominated as best folk instrumentalist by the Washington Area Music Association and performance credits include the Kennedy Center and the White House. Cottage in the Glen, is Jody's debut solo and features her on both piano and hammered dulcimer and with a host of Celtic musicians that blends Celtic, folk and contemporary sounds, The Washington Post has described Jody's music as "deftly balancing the artful and the playful...lovely, lively, and shimmering."

City of Washington Pipe Band are known for their spellbinding precision and won First Place in the World Pipe Band and World Drums Corps Championships in Glasgow, Scotland (1999). Joined by Scottish fiddle champion Bonnie Rideout they perform Highland bagpipe music in innovative arrangements with Highland pipes, small-pipes, drums, fiddle, viola, cittern, guitar and bodhran.

Hesperus is a early and traditional music ensemble that includes Tina Chancey on Bass viola da gamba, fiddle & recorder; Scott Reiss on recorders, pennywhistle and hammered dulcimer and Grant Herried on lute and early guitars. From the stages of America's Lincoln and Kennedy Centers to Germany, Peru and Singapore, Hesperus is one of the nation's first, and most important performers of "chamber folk" music bringing the energy and spirit of traditional music to virtuoso performances on folk and early musical instruments. They are frequent performers at the Smithsonian Institution's National Museum of American History.

Karen Ashbrook and Paul Oorts - Irish/Belgium duo features Karen on Irish flute, pennywhistle and hammered dulcimer and Belgium musician Paul Oorts on guitar, cittern and musette accordion. Karen, author of Playing the hammered dulcimer in the Irish Tradition (Oak Pub) also performs solo with Ceoltoiri Celtic Ensemble (see above).

Ken Kolodner is one of the finest and most influential hammered dulcimer players as well as a respected old time fiddler. From Appalachia jigs and reels to French Canadian waltzes, hear traditional music that swings. Ken has toured throughout North America and Europe for over twenty years both solo and with the trio Helicon (with flutist, Chris Norman and guitarist Robin Bullock) and Greenfire (with fiddler Laura Risk).

Sue Richards is a four-time National Scottish harp champion considered one of the best Celtic harpers with "a graceful touch and chamber-like intimacy " (The Washington Post) and " phrasing that is often breathtaking where melancholy and celebration combine" (Rock 'n Reel (U.K) She tours with Ensemble Galilei and Ceoltoiri.
